“One kiwi a day” has a bright apple green with dark olive flecks. It’s longlasting and non-streaky. The color is opque in two coats and the dark flecks makes it really special.

“One kiwi a day” is part of the limited edition “Fruity” by essence. It was released in April.

“02 Loung Chair Affair” is a warm coral toned lipgloss. It’s described as smoothing and moisturizing gloss for shimmery lips. On my lips it’s semi-opaque, and holds up to three hours. It has a non-sticky formula, which is a plus. The smell is rather dominant but wears off after some minutes.

“02 Loung Chair Affair” is part of the limited edition Soul Sista by essence. It’s in stores since the middle of march. The edition combines summerfeeling and 70s style.

Isa says: It’s a nice color for summer but also very dupable, so you might want to check your stash first.

Rich Rose has a soft rose tone. It’s quite opaque but very drying on my lips…It has a SPF 15. It is actually apricot scented, which can be a big turn off if you do not like the smell.

Long Beach Ice Tea is a warm brown with a gold metal sheen, it’s supposed to be longlasting. And yes it is! It’s a little streaky but it’s opaque in only one coat, the color is warm and intensive and it’s a great summer color, indeed.

Lolita in the Garden

It was time to take my Lolita dress out for a walk in the garden :) I totally forgot that I had it in my closet… So we (my friend and I) took some spontaneous photos in my mom’s garden. And of course, I tried out some make-up on that occasion! I really like green and copper together, it feels like spring-time.

On eyes: I used Artdeco’s Eyeshadow Base, a copper bronze with gold sheen on the lid, a sheer, cream white as highlighter on browbone, a grassy green with frost finish applied from corner to the middle of the lid and on inner eye corner. The eyeshadows are contained in the NYX “All I’ve Ever Wanted” palette. Urban Decay’s Perversion on upper lash line and Hourglass Film Noir Mascara.

On face: I used Lancôme Taint Idol Ultra in Nr. 03 Beige Diaphane and Catrice Transparent Fixing Powder.

On Lips: I used MAC See Sheer Lipstick.

On Nails: I used Butter London’s MacBeth.

Out, out damn neutrals. An orangey coral that will make you want to do terrible things and won’t wash off your hands.

Butter London’s MacBeth is a great, bright coral red, that will make your nails pop. I love that it is wearable throughout the whole year and has a great wear time. It is opaque in two coats. All this makes it my go-to red! I admit it’s pricy but you might find it worth it.

Good to be Bad – Saturday Look

I created that look with what I had lying around at home, I just wanted to see what I could do with it. So nothing special here, just my saturday look.

On face: I used p2 Stay Matte Make Up in 020 “matte beige” as foundation, Catrice Transparent Fixing Powder, Benefit’s “Hoola” and p2 Feel Good Mineral Blush in 050 “innocent rose” on cheeks.

On eyes: I used Benefit’s “bronze buz” on eyelid and “peach fizz” as a highlighter. Urban Decay’s Perversion on upper lashline and Uma Double Glam Cashmere Mascara. I used no base this time (because I had none, hihi) but nethertheless it lasted for 5 hours minimum!

On lips: I used MAC “Good to be Bad” Sheen Supreme Lipstick.

 

YuNoHaNa Bath Crystals

YuNoHaNa Bath Crystals

is a japanese mineral bath. YuNoHaNa is described to have an excellent skin care and purifying effects because the bath crystals contain the same minerals as the Beppu springs. Cracked, dry skin becomes soft and smooth and the crystals refresh and deodorise it.
Rough skin becomes supple and dead skin particles are removed. It has a soothing effect on sensitive skin. YuNoHaNa relaxes and refreshes the whole body, babies and adults alike.

YuNoHaNa is a yellow to orange powder, when added to water it becomes curry to green. To be honest the color did not strike me as flattering, just like the smell. The scent really was a hugh minus for me and I didn’t get any purifying effect from it. Nevertheless, I used it to wash my face like described on the package and I liked it. The scent was not as overpowering than when used as bath powder and my skin felt relaxed and clean. As a face wash I would use it again!

If you like japanese mineral baths you should have a look, the package design is very neat and as face wash it is great.

Marie Colette’s Body Butter Rock Girl

is described as a fruit cocktail with sunflower oil, shea butter and glycerin. It’s supposed to moisturize all day and give you a velvety skin.

I used it for some days and it really has a moisturizing effect, it’s not really a velvety skin but my skin is soft.

It caught my eye because of the young and bright design, you may call it cheap but you have to admit it is flamboyant.

The scent is rather remarkable, it smells like apple and gummy bears, altogether very, very sweet. I must say I like it but you may want to test it first, it’s surely not everybody’s type. The consistency is very creamy, unusual for body butter but not all unpleasant.

If you like fruity, sweet scents you might want to try it. The price is also a plus factor :)
